OUR WORSHIP
Music & praise
Our worship is enriched by several choirs and ensembles. There is no musical requirement — all are welcome!
Chancel Choir
A group of adults of all ages, dedicated to serving the Lord through music. The Chancel Choir leads and supports worship 52 Sundays a year and sings for special liturgical services throughout the year. Rehearsals run September through June on Thursday evenings, 7:30–9:30 PM, and Sunday mornings 9:00–9:50 AM. There is no musical requirement — all are welcome!
Sounds of Praise Choir
A choir for children, open to all children ages 5 to 12. The children rehearse in the music room every Sunday immediately following morning worship, learning to sing, exploring the meaning of the music, and building basic music theory. They sing quarterly and for special liturgical services.
Men’s Chorus
A group of singing men in the church. The group rehearses periodically throughout the church year on Saturday afternoons, 5:00–6:00 PM, and sings for special liturgical services.
Sounds of Praise Orchestra
An instrumental ensemble open to children ages 8 to 18 who are studying music in school. All instruments are welcome. The orchestra rehearses every Sunday after the Sounds of Praise Choir rehearsal, and many of the children also perform solos in church.
