A message from our pastor
“Here I am”, the latest Pastor at UMC of Hempstead. I wish to extend my appreciation for the warm welcome received and do look forward to my season here with you. I have heard about the good works of this community of faith and the hard and engaged workers who have worked tirelessly in its vineyard. I know that covid has, as it has done to many organizations, faith and secular alike, caused a halt to much of the church’s ministries. So yes, there is a lot of work to be done, dreams to pursue and recover, and missions to be accomplished. read more
