Spring Rummage sale attracted many people
The Spring Rummage Sale, held on Saturday, May 3rd, attracted many people from the community who had the opportunity to take home household items, clothing, small appliances, furniture, fresh baked goods, linens and bedding, and many other treasures. The bake sale alone raised a total of $168.00; the net profit from the Rummage Sale was $1,698.00. The only expense was the cost of bags used to take treasures home.
Coordinators of the event, Mary Johnson and Royston Bailey, had a great deal of help from the Parish family.
Many thanks to the following members for their dedication and assistance: Cathy Bahr, Roger Tatem, Janice LaLumia, Evelyn Mazza, Elnora Brevard, Pearl Miles-Lee, Miriam Harris, Miriam Richards, Marion Harris, Jennie Connolly, Helen Clarke, Julia Ross, Dot Zondag, Roger Eastman, Jean Bearak, Marcia Chase, Duncan Chase, Peggy Peterson, Veronica Hamilton, Hyacinth Daley, Clive Daley, Daniella Dwyer, Royston Bailey, Beth Davidson, Marcia King, Keisha King, Garydiane Morrison, Davida Wright, Elvia Reynolds, Aldith Swaby, and Annette Harris.
