Learn about Mission U
M
ission U is an annual event that educates youth, adults and the entire church community with a focus on women. It provides an opportunity to study current issues impacting society based on recent mission study topics. At Mission U, attendees learn together and grow in understanding of the mission of the church in the current world context. The studies provide insight on the responsibilities of women in the fulfillment of the mission work of the church.
This year’s event, held at the State University of Connecticut, also included demonstrations and nine workshops, such as Upper Room prayer line, study on the Roman people and spiritul development, coordinating health kits; and health and family displays.
Mission U events take place across every United Methodist Conference in the country and is organized by Conference United Methodist Women Leadership.
